Mistery Parking – Oxford

A client called Private Detective Oxford wishing to find out
who owned a particular car. The car in question was constantly being parked
unsociably and irresponsibly outside our client’s home. He would go to bed and
in the morning the car would be there either blocking his drive or parked up on
the curb. He had spoken with the local council, the police and the traffic
wardens who have not been able to help him as yet. The client would like us to
find out who the car belongs to and what they do when it is parked outside his
house.

We suggested surveillance during the night to see if we
could catch who was parking it. We were also interested in talking with our
clients neighbours to see if they knew who it could possibly be. We set up a
good observation point with two of our agents ready to spring into action when
the car arrived. We would then follow the driver to see where they went and
what they were doing.

The car arrived at 02:46 and was parked up on the curb as I
client said it could be and a man in his mid-twenties got out with a lap top
and walked for about five minutes to a house about 5 minutes away that had no
parking available. He let himself in with a key, turned some lights on for a
few minutes and then the house was in darkness. He did not leave the house
until lunchtime the next day. He walked back to our client’s house and got in
his car and drove away.

We informed our client of the movements of the driver and he
seemed really surprised. He told us that the man was his son that he had not
seen for a few years and had lost contact with him. We gave him the address and
he decided to pay him a visit to find out what was going on.
